  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 120 ml warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 40 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 40 g flour
  • 25 g sugar
  • 25 g cold butter, cubed
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 12 tsp milk

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until bubbly (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add egg and softened butter to the mixture. Gradually mix in flour and salt to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth, then let rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour.
  4. Prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. For the apple filling, sauté diced apples in butter with brown sugar and cinnamon until slightly tender.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread cheesecake filling and apple filling on top, then roll tightly and slice into equal pieces.
  7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with crumble topping, and bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  8. Drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar mixed with milk before serving.
