  • 1 (8 oz.) tube refrigerated crescent rolls or crescent dough sheet
  • 1 medium apple, diced
  • 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter (divided)
  • ⅓ cup sugar (half light brown, half white)
  • Cinnamon (to taste)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin pan with paper liners.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough on parchment paper; if using rolls, seal perforations to form a rectangle.
  3. Brush the dough with 2 Tbsp melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mix, and spread diced apples evenly.
  4. Roll the dough into a log shape and slice into 8 pieces.
  5. Place sliced pieces in lined muffin pan and brush tops with remaining melted butter.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. While baking, mix powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk for drizzle.
  8. Once cooled slightly, drizzle the mixture over cupcakes.
