  • 2 Granny Smith apples (peeled and diced)
  • ¾ cup water
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 containers Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • ½ cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
  • Caramel sauce (for drizzling)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix diced apples with water, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  3. Unroll crescent dough into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of apple filling on the wide end of each triangle and roll tightly.
  5. Roll each bomb in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
