  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by melting butter in a saucepan and adding diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until softened.
  2. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the apple mixture; cook until thickened and set aside to cool.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Flatten each biscuit into a circle and place about 1 tablespoon of apple filling in the center. Fold and seal tightly.
  5. Dip each ball in melted butter then roll in a cinnamon-sugar mixture before placing seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and serve warm.
