- 1 pound boneless sirloin (cut into bite-sized chunks)
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound turkey bacon
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon tallow (or turkey bacon grease)
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- Kosher salt (to taste)
- Cook the turkey bacon until crispy; reserve some for garnish.
- In a Dutch oven, heat tallow over medium-high heat and sear sirloin chunks for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Brown ground beef in the same pot, adding optional spices, until fully cooked.
