  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, onion, bell pepper, garlic, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  3. In a loaf pan, press half of the meat mixture down evenly. Layer with half of the provolone cheese and any additional veggies. Top with the remaining meat mixture and gently seal the edges.
  4. Bake for about 1 hour until fully cooked through. Add remaining cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
  5. Allow resting before slicing and serve warm.
