  • 2 cups shredded cabbage

  • ½ batch green onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 tbsp oyster sauce substitute
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp light sesame oil
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Cook chow mein noodles per package instructions until al dente; drain and rinse.
  3. Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat; cook bite-sized chicken pieces until golden brown.
  4. Sauté carrots, cabbage, and garlic until vegetables soften.
  5. Combine cooked chicken and noodles with vegetables; pour in the sauce and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with green onions before serving hot.
