  • 35 ml sunflower oil
  • 225 ml water
  • 40 g butter (for filling)
  • 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, sunflower oil, and water. Knead for 10-12 minutes until smooth.
  2. Let it Rise: Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  3. Shape the Dough: Divide into two pieces and roll each into a circle on a floured surface.
  4. Add Filling: Spread softened butter on one circle and layer the second circle on top. Cut into 12 triangles.
  5. Roll Croissants: Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip.
  6. Prepare for Baking: Place on a lined baking tray, brush with beaten egg, and let them rise again for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake: Preheat oven to 200°C and bake for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
