  • 1 can (15 oz) chili beans, undrained
  • 1 can (46 oz) tomato juice
  • 4 oz spaghetti or angel hair pasta
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (for garnish)
  • Corn chips (for garnish)
  • Sour cream (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add diced onions to the pot and cook until translucent.
  3. Stir in mild chili powder, kosher salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in the undrained chili beans and tomato juice; add granulated sugar to balance acidity.
  5. Bring to a boil; then add broken pasta and simmer on low for about 20 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with shredded cheddar cheese, corn chips, and sour cream alongside warm cinnamon rolls.
