  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 cup baby spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Sauté the onion in olive oil until translucent; add the garlic and cook briefly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sautéed onion and garlic with spinach, ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Greek yogurt, dill, lemon juice, oregano, salt, paprika, cumin, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into eight patties approximately ½ inch thick.
  4. Cook each patty in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with garnishes or sauces of choice.
