  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine apples, sugars, cinnamon, flour, and lemon juice until well coated.
  3. Roll out pie crusts on a floured surface and cut out small circles using a cookie cutter or glass.
  4. Place half of the dough circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spoon apple filling onto each circle.
  5. Cover with remaining dough circles, press edges with a fork to seal, cut slits on top for steam.
  6. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
