  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 cup pistachio butter
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and yeast; set aside.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together warm milk, melted butter, and egg; add to the flour mixture.
  3. Knead until smooth (5-7 minutes), then cover with a damp cloth and let rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  5. Spread pistachio butter over the dough; sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Roll into a log shape and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish; cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving; glaze or sprinkle with more cinnamon if desired.
