  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon red apple vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce (as Worcestershire sauce substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sweet pickle relish
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, lemon juice, red apple vinegar, soy sauce, horseradish (if using), and sweet pickle relish, salt, and pepper until smooth. Chill the dressing in the refrigerator.
  2. On a large platter or individual plates, layer the chopped romaine lettuce as the base.
  3. Arrange the shrimp on top followed by slices of hard-boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, avocado slices, and cucumber ribbons.
