  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Pita bread
  • Fresh vegetables (like cucumbers and tomatoes)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the spices: cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add olive oil and yogurt to the spice mixture along with apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. Stir in minced garlic until well combined.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or shallow dish; pour marinade over them to coat evenly. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight preferred).
  4. Preheat grill or oven. Remove chicken from marinade and discard excess marinade. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Serve garnished with fresh parsley alongside pita bread and vegetables.
