Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup white chocolate chips (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, then stir in cocoa powder until well combined. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until light and frothy. Add cooled butter/cocoa mixture and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling completely before cutting into squares.
  6. To decorate, fill a ziplock bag with melted white chocolate, snip off one corner, and pipe spider webs onto brownies.
