  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  1. Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl; let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add eggs, softened butter, flour, and salt to the yeast mixture; knead until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
  3. For the filling: Melt butter in a pan, add garlic, sauté for 2 minutes; stir in herbs and cool.
  4. Roll out dough into a rectangle; brush with garlic herb butter and sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
  5. Roll tightly into a log; slice lengthwise but keep one end intact; twist halves together.
  6. Place in greased baking pan; let rise for another 30–40 minutes.
