  • 20 gyozas or potstickers
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 garlic cloves (grated)
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (14 oz) unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp Thai red curry paste
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large saucepan. Grate garlic and ginger.
  2. In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add chicken broth and coconut milk. Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, Thai red curry paste, and lime juice. Bring to a boil then simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Cook gyozas in boiling water according to package instructions (about 2-3 minutes) then drain.
  5. Serve the gyozas in bowls and pour hot coconut soup over them. Garnish with chopped chives or veggies as desired.
